✈Mostar International Airport passenger numbers increase in May

Mostar International Airport has finished the month of May with a total of 11.867 passengers handled, an increase of 22,47% compared to the same month last year.

Mostar International Airport is expecting to finish this month with over 10.000 passengers using the airport. Today alone airport is expecting 1.800 passengers. Croatia Airlines is operating double daily from Beirut once per week, both flights are operated with largest aircraft in Croatia Airlines fleet an Airbus 320. Mistral Air, is still the airline with largest number of flights to Mostar followed by BH Airlines.

Sarajevo International Airport will break an all time record since starting operations 45 years ago in terms of handled passengers and cargo. The airport is gearing up for a very busy summer with a great amount of charter flights and increased frequencies on regular flights due to high demands for flights to Dubai, Stuttgart, Oslo and Istanbul. July and August will be the busiest months for the airport and in one of the months there is a possibility that  the airport will break record its of 100,000 passengers in one month. The highest number of passengers recorded in one month was in August of last year with 88,591 passengers handled.

✈BH Airlines charter flights from Banja Luka to Tivat

BH Airlines will operate total of 14 round trip charter flights from Banja Luka to Tivat in Montenegro. Flights will be operated for tour agencies catering for tourist from Banja Luka region visiting Montengrin Adriatic coast. In the past two years BH Airlines operated flights on the route with solid bookings. Last year alone, BH Airlines transported about 1000 passengers between Banja Luka and Tivat on 10 round trip flights, averaging 50 passengers per flight on its ATR-72 with capacity to seat 66 passengers.

✈FlyEgypt charter flights from Sarajevo to Hurghada

FlyEgypt is the first budget airline in Egypt, the airline is register in Egypt and it has been issued Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority Air Operators Certificate on 05/02/2015 (AOC), which is the final document that allows FlyEgypt to transport passengers domestically & internationally. FlyEgypt is assigned the IATA two letters code FT and ICAO three letters code FEG. The airline current fleet consist of one 12,5 years old Boeing 737-800 reg. (SU-TMG). One of the first international destination for new formed airline is Sarajevo with charter flights from Hurghada airport. Besides FlyEgypt, this summer Air Cairo will operate charter flights from Sarajevo to Hurghada  as well.
