✈Wizz Air to start Sarajevo-Stockholm flights

Today, Wizz Air has announced one more route from its new base in Sarajevo. Stockholm-Skavsta Airport will be served with two weekly flights beginning July 16^th. The airline will compete indirectly with Norwegian Air, as the Norwegian Air is reintroducing its Stockholm Arlanda-Sarajevo flights from June 29^th.  

With opening of reservations for Stockholm Skavsta flights, Wizz Air has discontinued sales of tickets for Sarajevo-London Luton.

✈ WIZZ AIR ANNOUNCES FIVE NEW ROUTES FROM BANJA LUKA

 

Excellent news from Banja Luka today! Wizz Air will start flights to the  second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with five new routes from June. Basel, Dortmund, Eindhoven, Malmo, and Stockholm-Skavsta will be served with two weekly flights each. With addition of five new routes by  Wizz Air, this summer Banja Luka Airport will be connected with 13 destinations with 26 weekly flight departures by Air Serbia, Ryanair and Wizz Air. In the time of global pandemic this is very promising for the future of the airport development.

✈Ryanair’s Bosnia and Herzegovina Flights Take Off !

Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline, today (30 Oct) celebrated its first ever Bosnia and Herzegovina flights (its 37th country) with the start of its new two times weekly Banja Luka service to/from Stockholm Skavsta, the first of its 3 new Banja Luka winter 2018 routes commencing this week.

Ryanair’s Banja Luka winter 2018 schedule will deliver:

✈Wizz Air to downsize Tuzla winter operations

Wizz Air will downsize its winter operations out of Tuzla by turning its services from the city airport to: Billund, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden, Stockholm-Skavsta and Vaxjo , to seasonal summer flights only. Each destination was served twice weekly. Last year the airline discontinued flights to London-Luton (after operating for one year) and Nuremberg (after operating for only one summer season). In the past Wizz Air operated flights from Tuzla to Oslo Sandefjord airport and Bratislava.

✈Bosnia and Herzegovina-Sweden air traffic report for 2017!

Sweden is the third largest market for air travel from/to Bosnia-Herzegovina, right after Germany and Turkey. During last year all routes from Sweden to Bosnia-Herzegovina have rocorded increase in passangers. Five destinations in Sweden are served from Bosnia and Herzegovina (four from Tuzla and one from Sarajevo). At the beginning of last year Wizz Air has converted its summer  seasonal service from Tuzla to Stockholm Skavsta Airport to year-round due to increased demand for the flights. In March of last year Wizz Air has aded its fourth destination  in Sweden (Vaxjo) from Tuzla. Tuzla-Vaxjo is served with two weekly flights.

Table bellow is showing data for passangers traveled between two countries on all routes. Tuzla-Stockholm Skavsta route was reintroduced as year-round on 26.03.2017, no flights were operated during January-March period on this sector. Tuzla-Vaxjo flights started on 21.03.2017.

✈ Wizz Air Tuzla-Stockholm Skavsta flights back to year-round

Today Wizz Air has released flight schedule for winter 2017/2018 from Tuzla International Airport. In new schedule Stockholm Skavsta airport has been converted from summer seasonal to year-round flights. Currently Stockholm Skavsta airport is served with three weekly flights from Tuzla. In winter timetable Wizz Air will fly twice weekly from Tuzla to Stockholm.
