✈Freebird Airlines boosts Antalya-Tuzla service

Due to very strong bookings Freebird Airlines has increased Antalya-Tuzla flights from two weekly to three weekly flights. Flights are sold and operated by GoldenTours travel agency from Tuzla. Freebird Airlines will operate a total of 84 round-trip flights, offering 15.120 seats.

✈Tuzla Airport Summer Timetable 2024

During Summer Timetable 2024, Tuzla International Airport will see a significant drop in flights and seats offered when compared to the years before. Last year Tuzla Airport lost Wizz Air base, Ryanair flights and short lived Lumiwings base. During upcoming summer schedule Tuzla Airport will be connected with only four destinations, three routes will be covered by Wizz Air on regular flights and one charter route by Freebird Airlines.

For the same period of last year Tuzla Airport had 501.480 seats on offer, while this year the airport has 97.920 seats, representing a decrease of 80%. The number of flights last year stood at 2.786, while this year is 544, representing a decrease of 80%.

✈Sarajevo-Antalya charter flights for Summer 2022

 


Fibula travel agency is selling charter flights from Sarajevo to Antalya starting May 03, 2022. The flights will operate by Anadolujet with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays until June 10. From June 11 to September 04 flights will operate daily. From September 06 to September 23 flights will operate 3x weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Anadolujet will operate a total of 212 round-trip flights, offering 38.160 seats between Sarajevo and Antalya. The airline will be offering flights for sale on its website as it did last summer.

✈ Tuzla International Airport – 2021 Summer timetable


During 2021 summer timetable Tuzla International Airport will be connected by Wizz Air to 15 cities across Europe and Antalya in Turkey by Freebird Airlines. Total of 2.320 flights are on offer with 417.600 seats. Since majority of the destinations are requiring negative Covid test on arrival, Tuzla Airport made it very convenient by installing Covid testing site at the airport’s grounds.

✈ Sarajevo International Airport - Summer timetable analysis

Sarajevo International Airport is expecting to start its recovery from next month with Wizz Air opening its base at the airport with nine new European routes. 

Also, FlyBosnia is restarting itsoperations with eight routes from Sarajevo. Majority of FlyBosnia flights will cater for tourists from Gulf region visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina. FlyBosnia flights from Bahrain, Doha, Gassim, Jeddah, Kuwait City and Riyadh are pre-booked by travel agencies specializing in vacation packages to Bosnia. The other two FlyBosnia routes from Sarajevo, Antalya and Hurghada are pre-booked by Bosnian travel agencies for Bosnians vacationing in Turkey and Egypt. 

From June 21st Air Arabia is introducing its second route from Sarajevo, Abu Dhabi will be served three times weekly. The airline will also operate daily flights from Sharjah to Sarajevo. United Arab Emirates will be connected with Sarajevo from Abu Dhabi (AUH) 3x weekly, Dubai (DXB) 14x weekly and Sharjah (SHJ) 7x weekly. 

Three airports from Saudi Arabia will have direct connections with Sarajevo this summer season, Gassim 2x weekly flights, Jeddah 6x weekly and Riyadh 13x weekly flights. 

As we reported earlier this month for the first time in its history Sarajevo will have direct flight to the United States. Easter Airlines will operate one weekly flight between Chicago (ORD) and Sarajevo, using 238 wide-body Boeing 767-200ER aircraft. For the first time ever Sarajevo Airport will have direct flights to cities on four continents, Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. Total of 38 routes with 33 airports in 20 countries will be offered from Sarajevo this summer season (19 in Europe, 12 in Asia, 1 in Africa and 1 in North America). ✈ Anadolujet launches Istanbul-Sarajevo flights


First AnadoluJet aircraft on the new Istanbul-Sarajevo-Istanbul route landed at Sarajevo International Airport today with a traditional water salute organized on the occasion.AnadoluJet operates as part of Turkish Airlines, and as of today it has started flights to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport, which is located on the Asian side of Istanbul.

AnadoluJet will connect Sarajevo and Istanbul three times a week: on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft offering 189 seats. Departure time from Sarajevo  is 14:50 local time.

From today AnadoluJet has a special promotion of return tickets on the new established route Sarajevo-Istanbul-Sarajevo starting 59.00 EUR. This special offer will last until March 31, 2021.

In addition to Istanbul, the company plans to introduce flights to the Turkish resort towns Antalya and Bodrum on turkish coast.Flights from Antalya will start om May 19. with three times a week, increasing to daily from June 29. Flights from Bodrum to Sarajevo will start on June 07. Operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.

✈ Anadolujet to start Antalya and Bodrum – Sarajevo flights

Anadolujet  is increasing its presence at Sarajevo International Airport with addition of two more destinations in Turkey, Antalya and Bodrum. Last month the airline announced flights between Istanbul (SAW) and Sarajevo. Antalya flights will start on May 19 with two times per week (Wednesday, and Friday), increasing to daily from June 29. Bodrum flights will start on June 07, operating twice a week (Monday and Friday). In upcoming summer season  Anadolujet will operate 12 weekly flights from Sarajevo to Turkey (Antalya 7x, Istanbul 3x and Bodrum 2x. All flights will operate with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

✈ Freebird Airlines charter flights Tuzla-Antalya

This summer season Firebird Airlines will operate two weekly charter flights from Tuzla to Antalya. Flights will operate on Tuesdays and Fridays from June 08 to September 14, 2021 with Airbus 320 aircraft. Total of 29 round-trip flights are scheduled, offering 5.220 seats in each direction. Flights will operate on behalf of Goldentours, a travel agency from Tuzla offering vacation packages to Antalya.

✈ FlyBosnia Sarajevo – Turkey and Egypt charter flights

This summer season FlyBosnia will perform majority of charter flights between Sarajevo and Turkey. The largest two tourist agencies in the country Fibula and Centrotours have signed agreement with FlyBosnia to operate the flights on their behalf. FlyBosnia will operate flights with an Airbus A320 aircraft, offering 180 seats in all economy class. The airline will operate flights from Sarajevo to two destinations in Turkey, Antalya and Bodrum. Antalya will be served with six weekly flights, while Bodrum flights will run once weekly. New charter destination for FlyBosnia this summer season will be  Hurgada in Egypt with one weekly flight from June 07 to September 23. In total FlyBosnia will operate a total of 72 round trip flights to Antalya, 11 round trip flights to Bodrum and 13 round trip flights to Hurgada, a total of 96 round trip flights, offering 34.560 seats in both directions.

✈Banja Luka Airport - charter flights for summer 2020



Travel agency Kontiki travel is organizing charter flights from Banja Luka to summer holiday destinations in Turkey and Greece. The summer of 2019 agency recorded very successful year accommodating 3.400 tourist (air passengers). Air Serbia operated charter flights from Banja Luka to Antalya and Athens on behalf of the tour operator. Total of  3.600 seats were on offer. In 2019 all charter flight to/from Banja Luka recorded average cabin load factor of 95%.
This year, Kontiki travel is offering 20 round trip flights to Antalya and 9 round trip flights to Athens. Total of  4.000 one-way seats are on offer. All flights will be operated by Air Serbia’s Airbus 319 aircraft.

✈Sarajevo Airport - charter flights for summer 2020



Sarajevo International Airport will see very busy summer season when comes to charter flights. Many tourist agencies are recording solid  bookings for summer holidays. This year travel agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina are organizing charter flights from Sarajevo to Antalya in Turkey, Hurgada in Egypt and Monastir in Tunisia. 
Majority of charter flights will be operated by FlyBosnia. The airline is planning on leasing two more Airbus 319 aircraft with beginning of summer flight schedule (first week of April). Flybosnia will operate 101 round trip flight Sarajevo-Antalya, offering a total of 27.876 seats in both directions. 

Second busiest charter market from Sarajevo this summer will be Hurgada in Egypt with FlyBosnia operating a total of 27 round trip flights, offering 7.452 seats in both directions.  







On flights to Monastir, FlyBosnia will operate a total of 14 round trip flights, offering 3.864 seats in both directions.

Turkish Airlines will operate charter flights from Antalya as well. Turkish Airlines will operate a total of 26 round trip flights, offering 9.828 seats in both directions.

So far, for summer 2020, travel agencies have booked 142 round trip flights with FlyBosnia to three major travel markets for summer holidays (Antalya, Hurgada and Monastir), offering 40.000 seats in both directions.

✈FlyBosnia to launch Sarajevo-Antalya charter flights



Largest market for charter flights out of Sarajevo during summer months is Antalya in Turkey, with approximately 50.000 Bosnian tourists visiting Antalya Riviera every year. The summer season of 2020 will be remembered as a first one for a domestic Bosnian airline carrying majority of tourist from Sarajevo to Turkey. Fibula travel agency has signed agreement with FlyBosnia to operate 93 one-way (186 round-trip) flights between Sarajevo and Antalya. FlyBosnia will start with two weekly flights from May 25, 2020 to June 12, 2020,  increasing to  daily flights from June 14, 2020. to September 12, 2020. From September 15, 2020 to September 26, 2020. the airline will operate 7 one-way (14 round-trip) flights. 

FlyBosnia will operate flights with an Airbus 319 aircraft offering 12.834 one-way seats (25.668 round-trip seats) between Sarajevo and Antalya. The airline will be leasing two Airbus 319 aircraft for summer season for a fleet of 3 aircraft. FlyBosnia will operate charter flights to Monastir in Tunisia and Hajj flights to Saudi Arabia as well.

✈ Summer Charter flights Tuzla-Antalya

Tuzla International Airport will be connected with Antalya this summer with charter flight organized by Golden Tours travel agency. Tuzla-Antalya flights will be operated by Free Bird Airlines twice per week, every Tuesday and Friday from June 11 to September 09, on board of an Airbus 320 with 180 seats. This year number of flights has doubled compared to previous years. Total of 48 flights are scheduled in both direction, offering 8.640 seats (compared to 4.320 seats last year).

✈Strong growth on Sarajevo-Antalya charter market

This summer season Turkish Airlines will perform majority of charter flights between Sarajevo and Antalya. Majority of tourist agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina signed agreement only with Turkish Airlines to operate the flights. Last year three airlines operated the flights: Turkish Airlines, Atlas Global and Onur Air, while this year Turkish Airlines will cover 90% of charter flights from Sarajevo to Antalya. On Sarajevo-Antalya route Turkish Airlines will deploy Anadolujet high density Boeing 737-800 with 189 seats.

Charter flights this year will start much earlier on May 31st and will operate until September 21st, flights will operate eight times weekly. Turkish Airlines will offer a total of 228 round-trip flights, offering 43.092 seats in both directions, representing a record number of seats offered between two cities. Last year all airlines operating charter flights Sarajevo-Antalya offered a total of 27.000 seats, this year’s increase represents a jump of 60% or 16.000 seats more.

✈Turkish Airlines S19 charter flights Sarajevo-Antalya


Travel agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina have started selling tourist packages for Turkish Riviera for summer of 2019. Turkish Airlines will operate largest number of the charter flights, a total of 89 round-trip flights are scheduled, representing an increase of 59% compared to the summer of the last year. Turkish Airlines will operate six flights per week from May 31. to September 21, with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, offering a total of 29.370 seats in both directions. ✈Aviolet charter flights from Banjaluka to Antalya

Banjaluka International Airport will be connected with Antalya this summer with charter flight organized by Kontiki travel agency. Banjaluka-Antalya flights will be operated by Air Serbia charter brand Aviolet once per week, every Tuesday from June 19 to September 11. Flights will operate on board of Boeing 737-300 with 144 seats in all economy configuration. Total of 13 round trip flights from Banjaluka are scheduled.
