✈Tuzla International Airport reopening tomorrow!

Wizz Air is restarting its Tuzla Airport operations beginning tomorrow (June 02, 2020) . All 15 destinations from Tuzla will restart during next 10 days beginning tomorrow, while new Tuzla-Salzburg flights will start on July 02^nd .

Notice for all passengers traveling from Tuzla Airport:

–Passengers are asked to arrive at the airport at least two hours and fifteen minutes before the scheduled departure time, to have enough time to perform all procedures (registration of passengers and luggage, customs and passport control)

– Passengers are asked to adhere to all preventive measures to prevent the spread of Corona virus

– Access to the terminal building of Tuzla International Airport is possible only for airport staff, crew members, passengers and persons accompanying passengers with reduced mobility who require assistance in registering passengers and luggage

– In order to prevent the spread of Corona virus, passengers are required to maintain a social distance (1.5 meters) and are asked to respect the markings on the floor. It is recommended to wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or use disinfectants. Mandatory wearing of a face mask that needs to be changed every 4 hours during your stay in the terminal building, as well as proper disposal of used masks in non-contact bins available at the airport. .

– Passengers are asked to cover their mouth and nose with a handkerchief or to cover their face with a bent elbow when sneezing or coughing, regardless of wearing masks

– Contact with surfaces and people should be kept to a minimum (electronic check-in, non-contact boarding)

– Use card payment services.

– All passengers will be subjected to a body temperature check before entering the terminal building

– Passengers are asked to leave the airport building immediately when picking up their luggage

– PASSENGERS WHO DO NOT COMPLY WITH EXISTING MEASURES WILL BE REFUSED ACCESS TO THE TERMINAL BUILDING OR THE AIRCRAFT

✈Wizz Air to launch Tuzla-Salzburg flights

Wizz Air  opened reservations for its sixteenth route from Tuzla,  Salzburg Airport (SZG), will be served with two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays starting July 02. 2020. Flights will be operated with an Airbus 320 aircraft based at Tuzla International Airport. Flights are already on sale at wizzair.com

✈Sarajevo Airport to reopen on June 02. 2020!

Sarajevo International Airport is scheduled to reopen on June 02. 2020. First flight to land at the airport after two months of closure due to corona virus pandemic is Eurowings flight from Cologne. Regular and charter flights are schedule to resume slowly during June and July.

✈ Qatar Airways suspends Sarajevo flights resumption until October

Qatar Airways on Wednesday (06MAY20) filed schedule and inventory changes for its entire network between 01JUN20 and 31AUG20. The following information is based on GDS inventory display based on research by route and date, between 0100GMT and 0700GMT 07MAY20.

As usual, further changes remain possible. In addition to all changes listed below, Qatar Airways will resume codeshare partnership with American Airlines starting 04JUN20, initially covering AA’s domestic US service via Chicago and Dallas/Ft. Worth. Planned codeshare routes will be covered in separate post.

✈FlyBosnia to operate cargo-only flights between China and Sarajevo.

Due to current circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Bosnia and Herzegovina is in urgent need for medical equipment (masks, personal protection equipment , gloves, respirators, and coronavirus testing kits). FlyBosnia is inviting all companies, hospitals and government institutions that have ordered medical equipment to contact them to arrange transportation.

During last week FlyBosnia has received about 20 requests from interested companies that require fast and safe transportation of medical equipment and materials from China and other countries for the purpose of preventing and suppressing coronaviruses in Bosnia and Herzegovina

"Due to lack of effective coordination, and on the basis of the urgent need for this medical equipment, FlyBosnia, together with its partners, invites all companies, hospitals, healthcare institutions that have ordered and / or plan to order equipment from China and / or from other countries (minimum 1 metric ton) to contact us directly so that we can consolidate an put all orders on the same flight. FlyBosnia has also made itself available to all government institutions and the non-governmental sector, "the statement said.

FlyBosnia will operate cargo-only passenger aircraft flights between China and Sarajevo.

As an example, a trip from Sarajevo to Shanghai and back will take approximately 30 hours (with an Airbus 319 aircraft) with all necessary stops for refueling, crew rest (overnight), aircraft disinfection and aircraft loading. The distance between Sarajevo and Shanghai is 8.650 kilometers (5.375 miles)
