At the beginning flights operated four times per week (Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday), increasing to daily from June of the same year. With the start of summer timetable, beginning of April 2022, Lufthansa is increasing Frankfurt-Sarajevo flights from seven to 10 weekly.

Lufthansa will have a split schedule to offer more flexibility on its long-haul connecting flights. Out of 10 weekly flights, four will arrive in Sarajevo at 10:30 pm, with the aircraft and crew staying overnight in Sarajevo, departing Sarajevo at 06:50 am the following day. At the beginning of operations Lufthansa operated an Airbus 319 aircraft, offering 126 seats, but due to flight’s popularity Lufthansa is upgrading  Frankfurt-Sarajevo route from April to an Airbus 320neo offering 154 seats.
