✈ Aerodrom Tuzla – poceli radovi na izgradnji izlazne kapije broj 3

Danas je na aerodromu Tuzla polozen kamen temeljac za izgradnju “Gate 3”, izlazna kapija broj 3. U budzetu tuzlanskog kantona za 2023. godinu osigurano je 1.880.000 maraka za nastavak ulaganja u razvoj aerodroma. Rok izvodjenja radova je sest mjeseci. U istom period bi se trebao zavrsiti i projekat izgradnje automatizovanog parkinga, kapaciteta 300 vozila.

✈Turkish Airlines to increase Istanbul-Sarajevo flights to three times daily

Turkish Airlines is increasing Istanbul-Sarajevo flights from currently 10 weekly to 21 weekly, or three times daily from the beginning of summer timetable. Turkish Airlines low-cost brand Anadolujet will fly three times weekly from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport as well, while Pegasus Airlines will operate eleven weekly flights between Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport and Sarajevo. From April, Istanbul and Sarajevo will be connected with 35 weekly flights, or five daily. For majority of its flights to Sarajevo Turkish Airlines is using Airbus 321neo aircraft.

✈Wizz Air to increase Abu Dhabi-Sarajevo flights to daily

Wizz Air is increasing Abu Dhabi-Sarajevo flights from four weekly to daily from March 26, 2023. Last year Wizz Air introduced two weekly flights between two cities, increasing to four weekly just three months after the first flight. Due to increased demand flights will go daily from the beginning of summer timetable. Wizz Air operates this route with an Airbus 321 neo aircraft offering 239 seats. From April 1st to October 31st Wizz Air will operate a total of 426 flights, offering 101.814 seats. Abu Dhabi-Sarajevo distance is 3.934 kilometers or 2.444 miles, with an average flight time of 5 hours and 30 minutes.

✈Aerodrom Sarajevo – otvoren 24 sata

Od maja 2023. godine aerodrom Sarajevo će biti otvoren 24 sata. Sa ovim radnim vremenom aerodrom će omogućiti znatno veći broj letova a pogotovo za kompanije koje planiraju kasni dolazak u Sarajevo, sa ranim polascima slijedećeg dana. Pregovori o uspostavi baze na aerodromu Sarajevo su u završnoj fazi i ovo radno vrijeme će doprinijeti većoj fleksibilnosti i uspostavi novih letova koji će stizati u Sarajevo oko ponoći. U prošlosti Air Serbia je željela uspostaviti dodatne letove iz Sarajeva sa polaskom oko 05:00 ujutro da bih se uspjele izvršiti konekcije na jutarnji val letova Air Serbia-e iz Beograda.

✈Rekordna godina za Aerodrom Sarajevo

Aerodrom Sarajevo je završio 2022 godinu sa rekordnim brojem putnika od 1.377.348 , aerodrom je oborio rekord i u broju avio operacija koji je iznosio 15.453. Nažalost odlaskom Wizz Air-a ove brojke ce biti teško dostići tokom ove godine, čak ukoliko i neka kompanija otvori bazu na aerodromu tokom ove godine.

✈Lufthansa, Frankfurt-Sarajevo statistics


Lufthansa launched Frankfurt-Sarajevo flights on May 03, 2021. From May 2021. to the end of the year Lufthansa operated a total of 372 flights, transporting 31.932 passengers (departing 16.315 passengers, arriving 15.617 passengers). During the year 2021. the average cabin load factor was 68%, averaging 86 passengers per flight. Flights operated by Airbus 319 aircraft, offering 126 seats. 

Data for the first eleven months of the year 2022 shows improvement in all areas. The number of passengers carried grew to 63.438 passengers, flights operated increased to 544, with an average cabin load factor of 86%, averaging 117 passengers per flight. Lufthansa will finish the year 2022 with 70.000 passengers carried between Frankfurt and Sarajevo. From April 2023 Lufthansa will increase Frankfurt-Sarajevo flights from 7 to 10 weekly. All flights are scheduled to operate with Airbus 320neo aircraft, offering 164 seats (38 seats more than currently operating Airbus 319). With the increased number of flights, and aircraft with larger seating capacity, we can expect Lufthansa to handle close to 100.000 passengers during this year.

✈Lufthansa to increase Frankfurt-Sarajevo!



Lufthansa launched Frankfurt-Sarajevo flights on May 03, 2021. At the beginning flights operated four times per week (Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday), increasing to daily from June of the same year. Since Lufthansa discontinued Munich-Sarajevo flights, Frankfurt has proven to be very popular, offering possibilities to connect to Lufthansa’s World network out of Lufthansa’s hub at Frankfurt Airport. With the start of summer timetable, beginning of April 2022, Lufthansa is increasing Frankfurt-Sarajevo flights from seven to 10 weekly. 

Lufthansa will have a split schedule to offer more flexibility on its long-haul connecting flights. Out of 10 weekly flights, four will arrive in Sarajevo at 10:30 pm, with the aircraft and crew staying overnight in Sarajevo, departing Sarajevo at 06:50 am the following day. At the beginning of operations Lufthansa operated an Airbus 319 aircraft, offering 126 seats, but due to flight’s popularity Lufthansa is upgrading  Frankfurt-Sarajevo route from April to an Airbus 320neo offering 154 seats.

✈Aerodrom Tuzla-Rekordan broj putnika u decembru

Kroz Međunarodni aerodrom Tuzla tokom mjeseca decembra prošlo je 52.151 putnika, što predstavlja najveći broj opsluženih putnika u ovom zimskom mjesecu odkako je aerodrom počeo sa radom. U poredjenju sa decembrom prošle godine aerodrom bilježi rast putnika od 104% ili 26.665 putnika više. 2022. godinu Aerodrom Tuzla završava sa brojkom od 474.336 putnika, što predstavlja povećanje od 59% ili 175.324 putnika više u odnosu na godinu prije.

Aerodrom Tuzla će ove godine oboriti sve rekorde po broju putnika i otpremljenih aviona, a po završetku dogradnje trećeg odlaznog izlaza, možemo očekivati još jedan bazni avion od strane Wizz Air-a, kao i nove avio linije od strane Ryanair-a. Aerodrom trenutno privodi kraju radove na izgradnji atrija, kao i obnovi i automatizaciji parking prostora. Aerodrom Tuzla planira da opsluži oko 750.000 putnika tokom ove godine.

✈Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Tuzla – Basel statistics



During last year three Bosnian airports were connected with Euro Airport in Basel. Air traffic data is available for January-September of 2022. Tuzla Airport recorded 31.677 passengers, followed by Sarajevo with 20.247 passengers and Banja Luka with 17.737 passengers.

✈Sarajevo - London Luton Airport statistics for October 2022.

During the month of October Wizz Air operated a total of 18 flights between Sarajevo and London Luton Airport transporting a total of 2.997 passengers. The airline had a cabin load factor of 92,5% or 167 passengers per flight on average. January-October 2022. Wizz Air operated 124 flights between Sarajevo and London Luton Airport, transporting 18.128 passengers, with cabin load factor of 81%.
