During January – September, airports in Bosnia and
Herzegovina recorded 1.355.063 passengers, representing an increase of 10% when
compared to the same period of last year. Out of four international airports in
the country, three have recorded passengers increase (Banja Luka, Sarajevo and
Tuzla), while Mostar recorded significant decrees of 33%. Last year Bosnia and
Herzegovina recorded 1.557.790 passengers, while this year the number should go
up to 1.720.000. From the year 2010 to 2017 number of air passengers at Bosnian
airports has increased by 165% (from 586.537 passengers in 2010 to 1.557.790 in
2017).
