✈ Wizz air performance at Tuzla Int. Airport

Wizz air is continuing to record strong growth at Tuzla International Airport. Currently Wizz air is connecting Tuzla with 14 destinations across Europe. Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden will be 15th destination for Wizz air from Tuzla beginning next month. Strongest market served from Tuzla is Germany with seven destinations served from the city : Berlin-Schönefeld, Cologne/Bonn, Dortmund, Friedrichshafen, Frankfurt-Hahn, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden and Memmingen.

✈Eurowings launches new flights to Mostar!

Eurowings has launched two new routes from Germany to Mostar. First flight from Dusseldorf landed in Mostar on Wednesday while new service from Stuttgart was introduced today. Both services are scheduled as summer seasonal and will operate with  Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.

Charter flights from destinations in Italy are operated by Alba Star Airlines and Aviro Air. Alba Star Airlines is Spanish airline company specializing in charter flights. The airline is operating charter flights from Milan and Bergamo to Mostar. New airline at Mostar Airport is Aviro Air. Aviro Air is Romanian airline company with only one aircraft in its fleet, 27 years old British Aerospace BAe 146/Avro RJ with registration YR-AVR. The airline is operating charter and ACMI flights.

✈Zagreb-Mostar flights inaugurated

Croatia Airlines plane landed at Mostar Airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday evening (May 03.2018), marking the introduction of direct Mostar-Zagreb flights.Croatian Transport Minister Oleg Butkovic was aboard of the inaugural flight, after landing in Mostar he said, “flights will connect two friendly countries and provide better connection with Europe and the rest of the world”

Croatia Airlines will fly between Zagreb and Mostar throughout the year on Thursdays and Sundays (late night departure from Zagreb), and between Mostar and Zagreb on Fridays and Mondays (early morning departure from Mostar).

✈Passenger traffic keeps climbing for Sarajevo Airport

Passenger traffic at Sarajevo International Airport is on track this year to be its strongest in airport’s history. April marked the 11th month of consecutive growth. During last month airport welcomed 86.995 passengers, representing an increase of 9,02% compared to the same month of last year. Year to date airport recorded 15,53% passenger’s growth or 34.443 passengers more compared to the same period of last year. Passengers growth is expected to continue with busy summer ahead

✈FLYBOSNIA-Sarajevo-Riyadh flight schedule

FLYBOSNIA owner Shiddi group has posted schedule for the airlines first destination. From June 10. to September 27. newly established Bosnian airline will maintain daily flights between Sarajevo and Riyadh. Flights from Sarajevo to Jeddah are planned as well. FLYBOSNIA is in final stage of obtaining Bosnian AOC (Air Operator Certificate). Flights will operate with Airbus 320 aircraft.

✈Qatar Airways to deploy Airbus 330 to Sarajevo!

Qatar Airways will operate its wide-body Airbus A330-200 aircraft from Doha to Sarajevo on May 29 and June 03. It marks the first time that airline will send its 260-seat aircraft to Sarajevo. The change from Airbus 320 to Airbus 330-200 comes due to operational reasons (increased demand on those days).

Qatar Airways currently operates four weekly flights from Doha to Sarajevo, with plans to increase flights to daily using Airbus 321 aircraft in the near future. This will be only second time in Sarajevo Airport history that scheduled flight is operated with wide-body aircraft. Last time an airline used wide-body aircraft on its scheduled flights to Sarajevo was back in 2013 when Kuwait Airways used its Airbus 300-600 to operate two weekly flights from Kuwait City.

✈Local Government will continue to subsidize Eurowings flights to Mostar !

The Government of Herzegovina-Neretva County, at a session held on Friday in Mostar, gave its consent to subsidize Eurowings flights to Mostar International Airport. In the budget for 2018, the Government secured 500.000 KM (255.000 Euros) for this purpose, and has pledged to provide funds for subsidizing the expenditures in the budgets for the period from 2019 to 2023.

 “Considering that Mostar International Airport provides general services of economic interest, the contribution to better mobility of citizens becomes visible. Connecting Mostar and the Herzegovina-Neretva County, with wider region, seeks to create the best possible conditions for a stronger economic development. This will be done particularly through better air transport links, as well as the availability/increase of tourist demand in Herzegovina-Neretva destinations. “, said Nevenko Herceg, the Prime Minister of the County.

Eurowings is scheduled to start Summer seasonal flights from Dusseldorf and Stuttgart on May 16. Flights will operate twice a week from each destination. Eurowings will be using Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 turboprop aircraft with capacity to seat 76 passengers. Flights will be operated by  Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (LGW) on behalf of Eurowings.
