✈Wataniya Airways Kuwait-Sarajevo flight schedule S18

Wataniya Airways has published its summer schedule for Kuwait City – Sarajevo flights. The airline currently operates one weekly flight between two cities on Thursdays, with the beginning of summer holidays flights will increase to three weekly from June until the end of September. Total of 58 round-trip flights are scheduled in airline’s summer timetable, offering 15.312 seats in both directions. All flights are operated with an Airbus 320 aircraft configured with 120 seats in economy and 12 seats in business class.

✈Sarajevo Airport-important announcement!

Dear Passengers,

Please be informed that in the period from September 29 till October 31, 2017 works will be in progress on extension of the baggage conveyor belt system and check-in counters. In order to avoid possible delays and traffic jams, we kindly ask Flydubai and Wataniya Airways passengers to appear at check-in counter 3 (three) hours before scheduled flight time. Passengers of other airlines should appear 2 (two) hours before scheduled flight time.

✈Airlines are increasing Sarajevo operations!

Due to the high demand for flights to Sarajevo, many airlines are adding additional flights and increasing capacity during summer period. Turkish Airlines on most of its flights is using largest narrow-body jet in its fleet, Airbus 321 with 180 seats. Newcomer to Sarajevo Airport Wataniya Airways is recording great bookings on its service from Kuwait City. The airline is adding additional flights on every Tuesday from July 25 to September 05^th. Air Arabia will operate additional flights to Sharjah, up to two daily flights on selected days. This summer charter flights to Antalya are seeing strong demand too, during month of August Sarajevo will be connected to Antalya with 4 weekly flights by Turkish Airlines and 2 weekly flights by Tailwind Airlines and one weekly by Corendon Airlines, for a total of seven weekly flights to Turkish resort city. Hajj pilgrimage charters from Sarajevo to Medina are planned for August 17, 18, 19 and 20^th. Returning flights are from Jeddah to Sarajevo, scheduled for September 07, 08, 09 and 10^th. All these additional flights will add large number of passengers for Sarajevo Airport in upcoming months. Record number of passengers are projected for July with 125.000 passengers, August 127.000 passengers and September 105.000 passengers. Sarajevo Airport will record best year since opening its doors on 2^nd of June 1969, it is estimated that airport will end this year with 910.000 passengers. One million mark in one year should be reached in 2018.

✈Wataniya Airways launched Kuwait-Sarajevo flights

First Wataniya Airways aircraft has landed at Sarajevo International Airport for the first time, introducing a new air service between the capitals of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kuwait. Flight Q9806, Airbus 320, 9K-EAH,  landed at Sarajevo International Airport on July 13, at 18:16 CET.

Scheduled flights will run twice per week on year-round basis on Thursdays and Sundays. Due to very high demand for the flights, the airline has added additional flight during the month of August on Tuesdays, for the total of three weekly flights. All flights are scheduled to operate with an Airbus 320 aircraft offering 12 seats in business and 120 seats in economy class. The airline will also operate charter flights from Kuwait City to Sarajevo on behalf of Kuwait based tourist agency Mawasem Wings. Wataniya Airways is the fifth airline that started flights to Sarajevo International Airport this year. With all the new flights and impressive passengers growth, Bosnian main airport is directly contributing to stronger economy and great tourist potential.
