✈ Bosnia and Herzegovina- Sweden, half yearly air traffic report

Sweden is one of the most important markets for air travel to/from Bosnia and Herzegovina. More frequencies are added every year, especially during summer months. Flights are catering for large Bosnian diaspora in Sweden as well as growing number of Swedish tourist visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina. Number of passengers between two countries have seen solid increase every year since 2013, when Wizz air has started its operations from Tuzla International Airport to three destinations in Sweden (GOT, MMX and NYO). In the first half of this year 50.910 passengers traveled by air between two countries (excluding Stockholm Skavsta Airport), representing 4,95% increase comparing to the same time last year (or 2.404 passengers more). Number of flights declined due to Mostar Airport not having any flights to Sweden this year. Number of passengers should improve even more in the second half of the year with both Norwegian and Wizz air, adding more frequencies, during peak summer months (July, August and September). Table below is showing traffic between airports in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sweden on quarterly base. Data is missing for flights from Tuzla to Stockholm Skavsta (NYO) airport. This route is operated by Wizz air twice weekly during summer only (May-October).
