Dubai, United Arab Emirates; 02 October 2017: Following the commencement of their partnership, Emirates and flydubai today announced that Emirates will expand its network to 29 flydubai destinations across three continents.
The new partner network, through its codeshare, will offer greater frequency and easier access to more global destinations with the advantage of connecting baggage to the final destination.  Passengers can book from 03 October on Emirates.com, through the Emirates Contact Centres or the travel agents network with travel commencing from 29 October 2017.
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Group and Chairman of flydubai, said, “This is an exciting first step in unlocking the benefits of the partnership for passengers who will have the opportunity to enjoy the unique advantages each airline offers as well as greater choice and flexibility when connecting via Dubai. Connecting in Dubai’s aviation hub offers a smooth transfer experience and under the new partnership passengers will benefit from a reduced minimum connection time (MCT) between Emirates’ home in Terminal 3 and flydubai’s in Terminal 2 of 120 minutes.
Today’s announcement is an initial phase of the extensive agreement that will, in future phases, see the creation of additional city pair connections as the codeshare agreement is expanded and both airlines’ networks are optimised.

✈Mostar International Airport company profile and presentation!

Summary

There are many reasons for flying to the City of Mostar and its region, primarily the variety of tourist offers and the economy development. The City of Mostar is one of the largest urban tourist destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a university city. The Marian shrine of Međugorje, visited by millions of tourists from around the world, it’s in the immediate vicinity of Mostar, only 30 km away. The second reason for arriving to Mostar by plane is economic. Mostar, as well as the area of central Herzegovina, has significant resources needed for economic development. The third reason is in the fact that, especially in the summer months, nearby airports in Croatia (Split is 168 km away, Dubrovnik 146 km) have problems with available capacities. Mostar Airport could be a quality alternative to such airlines given that it is not "slot" coordinated, offering airport services at competitive prices, which is particularly suitable for low-cost airlines.

About Mostar International Airport

Mostar Airport was opened for civilian air traffic in 1965, being primarily used for domestic flights. In 1984 Mostar Airport was declared an alternative for the Sarajevo International Airport during the 1984 Winter Olympic Games, thus acquiring the status of an international airport. Thanks to its geographic location and proximity of the Marian shrine of Međugorje, there is a considerable interest in operating many charter flights to Mostar Airport. Mostar Airport is currently at the beginning of a new development period characterized by significant investment of the European Union in the modernization of its facilities and purchase of equipment for handling aircraft and passengers. Having reached high standards of airport facilities and staff qualification, it is safe to say that Mostar Airport will be a significant economic entity for the development of the entire Herzegovina region.
An adequate infrastructure and professional staff of Mostar Airport make sure that the traffic of aircraft, passengers, baggage and cargo is secure, at the highest level and according to ICAO standards at all the times. The airport is equipped to handle all aircraft including up to ICAO "C" category.
