Sarajevo International Airport has purchased one of the most efficient, durable, successful and variable airport fire engines in the world. Its powerful performance and award-winning design make it the most modern fire engine of our time.
The Rosenbauer PANTHER
6x6 scores up to 750 hp engine power, 120 km/h top speed, up to 14.000 liters extinguishing agent
volume, 9,000 l/min pump performance and an acceleration from 0 to 80 km/h in
less than 31 seconds. The fire engine was purchased
directly from Austrian manufacturer Rosenbauer with price tag of 700.000 Euros. With the arrival of the new fire
engine the airport’s fire rating category will be upgraded according to International
Civil Aviation Organization standards.
