Sarajevo International Airport achieved another record-breaking month, handling 311.827 passengers in August, a 20% increase compared to the same month in 2024. This marks an increase of 52.819 passengers year-over-year Aircraft movements also saw a rise, growing by 10%, while cargo volume experienced a 4% decrease.
From January through August 2025, the airport has welcomed 1.552.145 passengers, an increase of 301.004 passengers, or 24%, compared to the same period last year.
Based on my ongoing analysis of passenger traffic trends, Sarajevo Airport remains firmly on track to reach 2.2 million passengers by the end of 2025. The table below outlines my monthly passenger traffic projections for the year. So far, my forecasts have closely aligned with the actual figures, reinforcing confidence in this year-end target.
