First Wataniya Airways aircraft has landed at Sarajevo
International Airport for the first time, introducing a new air service between
the capitals of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kuwait. Flight Q9806, Airbus 320,
9K-EAH, landed at Sarajevo International
Airport on July 13, at 18:16 CET.
Scheduled flights will run twice per week on year-round
basis on Thursdays and Sundays. Due to very high demand for the flights, the
airline has added additional flight during the month of August on Tuesdays, for
the total of three weekly flights. All flights are scheduled to operate with an
Airbus 320 aircraft offering 12 seats in business and 120 seats in economy
class. The airline will also operate charter flights from Kuwait City to
Sarajevo on behalf of Kuwait based tourist agency Mawasem Wings. Wataniya
Airways is the fifth airline that started flights to Sarajevo International
Airport this year. With all the new flights and impressive passengers growth,
