First Turkish Airlines cargo aircraft has landed at Tuzla
International Airport today (June 2, 2016). Airbus 330-243F aircraft (TC-JDR)
was greeted at the airport by Tuzla county government officials, Tuzla airport stuff and Turkish ambassador
to Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Cihad
Erginay. The Republic of Turkey has allocated a quota of 15,000 tons of fresh
meat and meat products to import from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Export of meat from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Turkey has
started two years ago, and it was done through airports in Sarajevo and Banja
Luka. This year all export will go from Tuzla International Airport. Turkish
Airlines will transport about 6.000 tons of fresh meat and meat products from
Tuzla International Airport to Istanbul Ataturk airport, using an Airbus 330 freighter aircraft.
From June 2, 2016. to November 30, 2016. a total of 90 flights are planed.
