✈Tuzla International Airport is looking forward to another great year

One is landing, the other taxiing for takeoff, and the third one is parked on the apron. Summer flight timetable has begun and Wizzair has increased weekly number of operations to 14 weekly flights. Flights are operated as follows: Monday and Friday each have three flights, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays  two flights, and on Wednesdays and Sundays one flight per day. In June, when Wizzair opens its base at Tuzla International Airport the number of operations will be increased to 21 weekly, with three daily rotations,  and one weekly flight to Antaliya on Tuesdays with Freebird Airlines, increasing daily rotations on Tuesdays to four. Tuzla International Airport is expected to handle over 200.000 passengers. Small terminal building is in real need of expansion or rebuilding since it is handling the double the capacity of passengers its designed for. The airport is expecting solid growth in future and future expansion of Wizzair. Tuzla airport is currently working on installation of Approach lighting system (ALS) which will enhance the safety of aircraft operations, particularly in conditions of reduced visibility.
