Wizz Air has announced the reopening of its base in Tuzla and further expanding operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year, exactly ten years since the airline first established its base in Tuzla, Wizz Air is proudly returning to strengthen its commitment to the country. The airline continues to offer more affordable travel options, meeting the growing demand for budget-friendly flights, with tickets already available online on Wizz Air’s official website and through its mobile app from as low as 40,99 BAM!

With the allocation of two state-of-the-art Airbus A321neo aircraft by March 2026, the airline is happy to grow again its capacity from Bosnia and Herzegovina, adding half a million seats for the upcoming year. The expansion makes Wizz Air the market leader in Bosnia and Herzegovina, further consolidating its position as the most accessible airline with the biggest route network serving the country.

With a reopened base and two allocated aircraft in Tuzla, Wizz Air will enhance connectivity from the city by enabling the launch of nine new routes. Starting from December 2025, passengers can already fly from Tuzla to Cologne, Hamburg, Maastricht and Malmö. From March 2026, additional five routes will be available to Berlin, Frankfurt, Gothenburg, Larnaca and Paris.

Wizz Air now offers 16 routes to nine countries from Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the recently relaunched route from Tuzla to Vienna, flights from both Tuzla and Banja Luka to Basel and Dortmund, while Rome is available with the airline from Sarajevo.
