Sarajevo International Airport has recorded double digit
growth in passengers handled last month, continuing to break, all time records. Last month airport
recorded 91.123 passengers , an increase of 12.003 passengers or 15,17%. Number of flight
operations grew from 1.086 to 1.171, representing an increase of 85 operations or
7,82 %. A significant increase in freight (cargo) handled was recorded, from last year’s 504 tons
to 698 tons this September, an increase of 38,49%. Number of seats offered on flights to/from Sarajevo, during month of September was 122.119. Average cabin load factor (CLF) stood at 74,61%.
