✈Ryanair new BANJA LUKA route to GOTHENBURG !

Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, announced a new Banja Luka route to Gothenburg, with a weekly service commencing from the 25 Oct 2020, as part of Ryanair’s Banja Luka Winter 2020 schedule Bosnian consumers and visitors can now book a Winter getaway to Gothenburg as far out as March 2021, flying on the lowest fares and with a new set of health measures that Ryanair has rolled out to protect its customers and crew.

To celebrate, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares available from just €34.99, for travel from late October until the end of March 2021, which must be booked by midnight Friday (15 Aug), only on the Ryanair.com website.

✈ Wizz Air resumes all flights from Tuzla!

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, has reopened its Tuzla base on 2 June 2020 with routes to some of the most popular destinations in Europe: Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (Switzerland), Eindhoven (Netherlands), Billund (Denmark), Cologne, Dortmund, Friedrichshafen, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden, Memmingen/Munich West, Frankfurt Hahn, Berlin Schoenefeld (Germany), Gothenburg Landvetter, Malmo, Stockholm Skavsta (Sweden), Vienna (Austria). Wizz Air is introducing new flights from Tuzla to Salzburg on 02.07.2020. with two weekly rotations, using Airbus 320 aircraft.

To help passengers and crew travel safely and worry-free, Wizz Air has implemented additional hygiene measures to support physical distancing during boarding and enhanced cleanliness on board. As part of the measures to protect the health of customers and crew, customers should check-in and make any purchases online, such as paying for additional bags, to reduce non-essential interaction at the airport. In an attempt to contain the spread of possible infection, passengers are kindly asked to adhere to the new physical distancing rules both during boarding and disembarkation.

While the HEPA filters of all Wizz Air aircraft filter out 99.7% of viruses and bacteria from the air within the cabin, the crew as well as passengers are required to wear masks throughout the flight. Cabin crew distribute sanitizing wipes to each passenger, while the removal of onboard magazines and the encouragement of contactless payment during onboard purchases are measures introduced to minimize physical contact. On flights where load factor allows, the crew observes seat distancing for passengers.

Wizz Air continues its stringent daily cleaning schedule, with the entire aircraft being disinfected overnight, following official guidelines. All new safety procedures are introduced in the following video:

✈Dubai Air Wing Boeing 747 lands in Sarajevo again!

Second visit of a Boeing 747 to Sarajevo International Airport

Dubai Air Wing 747-400 (reg. A6-HMM) flight from Dubai (DBX) to Sarajevo (SJJ) ON June 05. 2020. The aircraft delivered medical air for Montenegro using Sarajevo Airport as a landing point, since Podgorica airport doesn’t have unloading equipment to handle and service Boeing 747-400 aircraft

✈Tuzla International Airport reopening tomorrow!

Wizz Air is restarting its Tuzla Airport operations beginning tomorrow (June 02, 2020) . All 15 destinations from Tuzla will restart during next 10 days beginning tomorrow, while new Tuzla-Salzburg flights will start on July 02^nd .

Notice for all passengers traveling from Tuzla Airport:

–Passengers are asked to arrive at the airport at least two hours and fifteen minutes before the scheduled departure time, to have enough time to perform all procedures (registration of passengers and luggage, customs and passport control)

– Passengers are asked to adhere to all preventive measures to prevent the spread of Corona virus

– Access to the terminal building of Tuzla International Airport is possible only for airport staff, crew members, passengers and persons accompanying passengers with reduced mobility who require assistance in registering passengers and luggage

– In order to prevent the spread of Corona virus, passengers are required to maintain a social distance (1.5 meters) and are asked to respect the markings on the floor. It is recommended to wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or use disinfectants. Mandatory wearing of a face mask that needs to be changed every 4 hours during your stay in the terminal building, as well as proper disposal of used masks in non-contact bins available at the airport. .

– Passengers are asked to cover their mouth and nose with a handkerchief or to cover their face with a bent elbow when sneezing or coughing, regardless of wearing masks

– Contact with surfaces and people should be kept to a minimum (electronic check-in, non-contact boarding)

– Use card payment services.

– All passengers will be subjected to a body temperature check before entering the terminal building

– Passengers are asked to leave the airport building immediately when picking up their luggage

– PASSENGERS WHO DO NOT COMPLY WITH EXISTING MEASURES WILL BE REFUSED ACCESS TO THE TERMINAL BUILDING OR THE AIRCRAFT

✈Wizz Air to launch Tuzla-Salzburg flights

Wizz Air  opened reservations for its sixteenth route from Tuzla,  Salzburg Airport (SZG), will be served with two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays starting July 02. 2020. Flights will be operated with an Airbus 320 aircraft based at Tuzla International Airport. Flights are already on sale at wizzair.com

✈Dubai Air Wing Boeing 747 lands in Sarajevo!

Boeing 747-400 (reg. A6-COM) belonging to the government of Dubai has landed at Sarajevo International Airport today delivering valuable medical aid to Bosnia and Herzegovina including: 40 ventilators, 100.000 corona virus test kits, 25.000 ppe gowns, 150.000 pairs of medical gloves, 150.000 N95 masks, 150.000 disposable surgical masks, 150.000 disposable protective masks, 50.000 visors and 20.000 goggles.

During corona virus pandemic Bosnia and Herzegovina has received medical aid from many countries. Medical aid was delivered via Sarajevo International Airport with large wide body aircraft (very unusual for Bosnian airports to see wide-body aircraft traffic).
